I have never really liked them but it is a Triumph TR7. I wouldn't be interested but it is the DHC model and the later, more valued one. Plus it is very low mileage and seemed quite clean (other than ALOT of dust). Although it needs a new clutch master slave thingymajig type thing - i'm getting the hang of this.
But the guy only wants pennies for it - he just wants it gone (£100) so even if it too much work, it should find a new home at no loss to me. it's nice when you meet very friendly muti millionaires [xx(] I'm also asking for some furntiture!!
water pump this afternoon into the evening,Fonty now has a transplant from No.1 [8D] her Radiator [:0] Tim said he thought the Ali Rad may not be doing it's job! me thinks he may have been right! the video's were taken very shortly after Jon left shame he missed it.Tim is determined to get the better of Fonty this time round!(I wouldn't want to be her) more later,..
Then it will be back to Bob.
Hi Guys,
How have you got on? I hope Tim remembered to slow down before he hit the ski slope [:0]
100 degrees is an awful lot better, the water pump will hopefully drop it some more and then we are back in business! What a bugger i'm busy this weekend, gutted I didn't have a little longer yesterday. Thanfully I got back JUST in time to greet my mother! Hopefully I can be down on Tuesday!
Fonty now has a leccy water pump, and gone back to a commer rad as the alloy "made in china" one was.......[xx(][!][V]
2 leccy fans ,one push one pull.
today she was driving at 100-110 (degrees not mph) but not boiling over
so a big improvement
Cools down to 60 within 10 mins of switching off with the pump/fans left running [8D]
the main heat source now seems to be the exhaust manifold which glows dull red in the dark [}]
"You,re only supposed to blow the bloody SLIDING doors off"
I know what you mean. I pushed the rad forward about 3" on long studs and it fitted nicely but I think I've upset the air flow through the rad, I'd be very interested in seeing your solution.
I couldn,t get it in front the rad due to lack of suitable hoses so it now resides between the sump and crossmember in front of the starter, just above the steering rods
Try removing your grille Panky and see what happens

But Harvey would be toofless:I
I s'pose the pinto install is slightly different anyway but I'll experiment with ducting and see if I can inprove things before I re-position the pump. The great thing is because it's lekky it could go just about anywhere
