Thank you oh wise ones...and Enigma :D I'll need a pedal box too - Commer or Ford? There is a local guy who I will probably get the bits from, but i'll get a full list/instructions from you on Sunday [8D]

It will be very strange driving her with a manual stick...or just driving her :D

I doubt having the van at home and not be able to drive it is any worse than not having the van at all [xx(][xx(]

As long as she is ready for the meet [:0]

I am off to take some pics for someone now. BUT I shall buy cherrys and cream en route home for the cake!

:p:p:p I stink of petrol and oil and have stingy eyes which can only mean one thing....SHEEEE'S back!!

Pics anyone?

Jon&Cara-Gramarye Fontaine

Well I've sent an email to Fonty's CAKE eating godparents so here they are for the rest of you -

We started her up and within 100 metres she was at 100 degrees so we stopped and had a summery cider :p

We had about 45 miles to drive and she did it brilliantly. Although she did get to 110 degrees soon after so I turned the heater on, the
electric fan and the windows opened. By the time we were home she was running at 120, but running really well - as good as ever. The roads back were up and down and - quite hilly but she was fine!

The wheels are from a Daimler and needed a little adapting -

Where the indicators were have now been repired -

NEXT is the water pump and then a repair to the back door, it is awful. The whole bottom has fallen out. Then a manual gearbox :)[:0]

We did have a bit of a petrol overflow too - the breather pipe disconnected, but is now reconnected! But that was all!

Looks really good, the air should be a bit cooler down there so should help;)
What's the ride like.

Harvey the RV

It was fine ride wise. Definitely felt like I was closer down toward the road level and the roundabouts were less roly. A lot stiffer really. I have the rear coils strengthened too (is it the coils :I i've forgotten already!)
