Fontaine's first week

So did it sound ook? Or was it a bit spluttery seeing as its not been fired up for some time? Will you just use the manual choke cable thats there? By the looks/sound of it is there anything to add to the shopping list that may improve it?

i only ran it for about 10 secs, and then the trans fluid came out the missing pipe :I needed the dizzy swinging and will need timing set a bit better when shes finished. but seemed to run ok and clean,with good oil pressure.
can,t really convert the choke to manual unfortunately. but its not really needed so don,t worry :)
could add a supercharger :p:p:p

the oil sqiurting out is good it shows it is pumping it :D
i was in the kitchen baking :p& heard some one starting an engine so grabed my mobile just in case it was Fontaine,sorry about the mess :D but wanted to share the moment ;)

in the absence of a radiator other progress was made, one modified lid :)

had to make a new baseplate for the filter in order to get it further under the lid [B)]

I just said to Cara that it was very good of you to put the carpet back on the lid - again, thank you - that looks great and the table will hide the little bump that fontaine is carrying :D !!

I got the ducting today - had to order it online to get that ammount of length. Its being sent straight to you as i forgot to change the address on paypal [8)], it should be there for sat though.

Its so close to being finished now, we are getting very excited!!

I have been stealing bits from no.1 today :(
the good news is I got that bit from the cab you liked ;)we can kill two birds with one stone [8D](we will reveal all later)
I helped a little bit in the heat today but had to put the parrasol up :D[}:)]:D

Hmmm, that has us intrigued!! [:0]

The brains working overtime now, cara's is sounding like a nicely, freshly oiled 2.0l - my brains sounds more like a clapped out 1.6 pinto....not heard one of them for a while ;)!!

Fontaine looks cool with the parasol - almost like it was made for her ;):D

We've not been so blessed with the weather today [xx(]. Also, if the Rad does turn up we aren't able to make it down as we have the 3 yr old niece to look after- unless i lose her before cara finishes work [:0]:D

I can pop down tomorrow though?

Blue vinyl....hmmm. You've not covered the cupboards have you? :D How much do we need!?

Grrrr [:(!] what time does your recorded post usually come? Our posties are a little later in the day for signed for bits. If you have no luck this afternoon i shall message the guy again!
