WOW - what a clean looking engine! That fan, wow, the shine on that. And those spark plugs look expertly screwed in ;):D

I'm just seeing what else i can break! I poped in the post to you tonight a thermostat, it's gasket and 3 core plugs- just incase you wanted them before we are down on wednesday!

yes, jon & cara turned up today, without the giant cake [V][:(!]:(
such behaviour will not be tolerated [}:)] and a measley swiss roll just isn,t good enough [}:)]......... tsk !
the 2L is now in, just need to put the box on and connect a few things. rad needs the bottom spout moving to clear the bigger fan. and a power bulge in the engine lid for the air filter. so not long now :p

We are so close now, after all Tim and Chris's hard work! Cara is about to upload some pics of todays huffin and shoving.

Admin, we are thinking of removing the fake PB indicator lights ;) and returning to how the PA should be. Can you give us a little info into how yours is wired up? Does your front indicator flash clear, or do you have an orange bulb (and then no sidelights as such?)

Jon - pics of the way the Pinto engine is mounted will follow once we get time to upload them in a day or two.

Nice work, but how did you survive the day on just swiss roll, think they owe you a huge triple choc/fudge cake next time to make up for it :D

it was a big struggle cazz [:0] but i did get my own back by adding a bag of ball bearings to the sump :D[}:)];)

Good - I think the single indicators is a key attribute :D
I may be able to help with the wiring info once I get the van back.
Clear bulbs, clear lenses, sidelights as sidelights, flash clear as indicators; I assume this is all OK on the MOT! I don't have a reverse light or fog lights either!... or seatbelts for now! The joys of 1965

well i got the g/box ffered up today, and after struggling to get it bolted to the engine decided something was wrong :( so off and out it came again to discover the torque converter was not properly engaged with the oil pump, afer another 3 hours trying to sort it i gave up and called in the experts :D

just got back form what we thought was a very very long day to find yours has no doubt outstretched ours. Any clue as to whats the problem? Is it too early to suggest we have a Fontaine Flambé tomorrow instead of meringue?
