Fitting windscreen

Hi do I need polyurethane to fit my new windsheild or is it ok without it

I thought that's what the stuff was called that you put in-between the seal and window. I'm a bit clueless on things like this to be honest

If it's a good fit you shouldn't need any but Swampster used Tigerseal, an adhesive/sealant, as his screen was a bit loose:I

I always use a sealant, Tigerseal or Sykaflex.

I did`nt use any sealant when I refitted the Jennings screen using one of Martins seals and have no leaks!!quote:
