Fitting child seat!!

Hi there, will be using my pb autosleeper for the first time in a couple of years and have two children travel with aged 2 and 4.. Has anyone fitted child seats in the back if so what is the best solution.. I know the 2 seats in the back can face forward so is this this best solution..

It has been done, the problem is finding anchorage points, Bolts and spreader plates through the floor have been used but the best one I've seen is Bigmonkeymans effort with the seat frames, along with attached anchorage points, from a minibus fitted facing forward under the bench. It needs a bit od chopping around of the wooden seat base but it can be done keeping the bed as original.

If I can get outside later I will photo my conversion of the back.I have almost totally removed the interior and used minibus seats.the original interior is now in my loft staying safe and dry for if I ever sell

Tried to post pics but not a clue.I can rebuild anything mechanical but computers just need a 14 lb pin hammer to do as you want them to

No problem I'm sort of figuring a way also wanted to keep the interior in for camping etc..
Thanks for the effort ;)

We still camp in the van a 6foot by 5foot bed folds down over the seats there is a hammock over the front seat and the two bunks in the roof still a cooker water and three way fridge all set up I just didn't want to cut the original interia around.I will still try to get photos up later as might give other peps ideas on a long run problem if you have two kids

That would be fantastic jato, as you say it's always been a problem fitting rear belts.
To upload pics direct from your device first open up a reply then click the 'Upload a File' button on the bottom right of the page, this will allow you to browse through your files to select a picture. Once it's uploaded select 'Full Size Image' and then post your reply. Another tip is to first set your camera/Ipad/phone to low resolution which will set the picture file size to the right sized image for posting. You can always use Photobucket but that is a little more involved.
Good luck:)

I thought you removed all your interior.. Ok cool see if you can send some pics would be nice to take a look.. I figured how to fit so they look backwards but not sure if that's legal also would prefer them to face forwards!!

Excellent, no reason why a bed cant be fashioned to fit around the seats. Great job:)
How about some pics to show how they are fixed to the floor

When the wife is back on Monday I will see if I can photo under the seat and under the van and the install photos I can tell you now that they will not move but easy to fit I will also take a photo of the bed down as it will make sense of space you can make in a camper with two kids
