Hi chaps and chapettes. Well Saturday was great, the greeting from the Maltas's was as warm as the weather, a lovely setting in the Yorkshire countryside, a host of interesting vehicles and more Commer nuts than you could shake a stick at (well if you shook it slowly). It was fantastic to finally put faces to names and a pleasure to meet you all, the one big disappointment I had was to find out Woolfy wasn't actually green, still you can't have everything. I took a few snaps during and have tried to arrange them in order of the day.

Martin gets exited as Chris and James arrive in Ran the van

Mind the new tarmac or Martin will impound your vehicle [xx(]

Just making sure nothings fell off. Chris had to drop the speed down as Ran was starting to overheat at 70mph [:0]

Speedy photo posting Panky. Nice to meet you and everyone else. Just want to thank Martin & Karen again for their hospitality - they made us very welcome.

We broke down on the way there and just to be consistent we broke down on the way back - something to do with someone messing around with the carburettor apparently!! (No idea what they meant by that Martin & Panky)

Only joking - the fan belt snapped.

Thanks again for the gathering and the mechanical tinkering.

Diane & Trevor

For those who didnt see, remember or even know who I was at the party i'll introduce myself.

I'm Gary's younger son, Simon. Thinks thats pretty much it.

Just wanted to say that I had a great 2 days up in Leeds having a barbecue and meeting new people. Thanks to Martin and Karen for arranging it all and being great hosts.

Hope we can all meet up again soon.

-Simon

Hi chris, just wrapping up those hub caps for you. Will have to get my wife to take them down the post office as i work from 5am to after 6pm. Shops and the like are always closed for us truckers.:(

cheers, this is "rans" pressie for getting us there and back safley...not sure on miles per gallon, cost 60.15 in fuel & presuming it was 150 miles there & back = 300(I think it was more though)=25 + to the gallon she did very well for her age.we got lots of waves from a variety of old cars, vans, buses etc on the way home, just added to the pleasure of the weekend [^]:D:p:D

I think this will need an extra few digits to keep up with Rans potential ;)
