First BIG trip in OJO .Great but .a bit breeeezy

We had our first serious trip in OJO last week .........down to Brighton, approx 290 miles with the old scoot in the back and no problems at all ..................well...... apart from us making a bit of a goof when we had our spruce up session the other week.....
the rubber seal was very raggedy (so we have ordered a new one ) We took the old one off and rather than put the whole thing back -we thought we would just cut and glue four corner pieces on ....that will be fine for now we said...........
it was like driving with a window wide open [:0] and eventhough the heater works great....it was just blowing straight out......so we were well chilled by the time we got down there - .......but OJO pulled like a little train all the way and we even camped out on the promenade the first night ....woke up with the sun shining in January ! The next day we cheated a bit and stayed B&B -but only because we had to get ready for a night out .

Great fun ...looking forward to the next adventure ...but with the correct insulation next time ! :D

very cool. I'm (hopefully) doing my mod1 test on Sunday and wondering what bike to get - so I'm obviously going to be looking at scooters (again) now!

Thats so cool, luv the vid and all those period furnishings [8D]

OJO just needs a leopard skin interior to match the lambretta seats now :)

Not sure 'bout your scooter 'racer, must be unsafe without wheelie bars :D

cool video [8D]:);)

[8D] Exactly what i had in mind John, nice to see how well it fits. Commer and lammy look really at home with each other, love the video too (our kitchen is nearly the same as that one). Hope to meet up one day with a similar set up. :)
