If you have seen my thread 'Vive le rust porn' you will have noticed that my car seems to have a liberal coating of filler, probably adding considerably to its weight. Having removed the cover sills and rear wheel arch repair, I need to remove the coat of filler over the rear wing which is now causing it to stand proud. Does anyone have a method for removing large areas of filler? Using a wire brush to remove a narrow section this morning created a cloud of dust which has coated everything (I was wearing a good filter mask).
