viewed another commer for sale yesterday i know its only our 2nd one we've seen but came away really disheartened:(. it needed so much work and tlc, especially underneath, and having no garage there is no way we could do it.

i'm sure there is a van out there somewhere for us that even if it needs a bit of work it is solid underneath. came back home and had a look through all the lovely vans on the forum to try and restore faith a bit.
 
keep the faith - the right van will find it's way to you :)[:X]

They can be prone to rot problems, which is what makes them more rare - which makes them turn more heads rather than yet another VW.

You might start having more luck as the summer season ends if people are getting one last trip out before selling;)

thanks for the words of encouragement. i'm sure the right van is out there somewhere for us and really it is still early days. had a brief moment of madness yesterday and nearly turned to the dark side but have stayed strong.:)
 
Julie dont let not having a garage put you of I have done all the work on Dora on my drive way- where there is a will there is a way :D Good luck with the search

hi unfortunately no drive either. but thanks for the support i am sure something that suits us will come along. we would manage to do a little work but not so easy when only a lane in front of house!
 
Keep your chin up;), the right van will undoubtedly turn up. Patience is all that is needed as it took me best part of a year to find the right van at the right price to suit me.
