FAO Will

Hi Will in response to your advice on the P5 Rostyles as below, can you give me some more info on the spacers had the stud holes etc done and they seem to fit fine? where do the spacers go? on the studs?
thanks Cemlyn

(dont forget you will need to bore the centre hole in the wheels
out to aprox 60mm for them to fit on a Commer, and also you will need to enlarge the holes for the wheel studs, and make, or have made a 4mm ish spacer to fit behind the wheels, or the front ones will clash with the raised balancer drillings on the hubs
(not sure about the rear ones as I used a P5 axle)
Good luck.. Will..

Hi Cem.. I needed to fit the spacers on the front wheels.
I did fit them without at first. They looked as if they fitted ok
BUT the inside of the wheels were pressing against the raised parts of the drum (the raised bits on the drum that have small drill holes in for balancing the drum when new!!)..
If you leave it like this you will buckle the wheel or even worse it may come off..
I had an engineer profile cut 2 disks of steel apros 4mm thick, to the same PCD and centre hole..
Dont know about the rear, as I have a P5 axle..
Hope this helps.. Please double check!!:)
