Autosleepers usually have an extension to clear the water tank. Easy fix - dump the tank, they're skanky anyway[xx(]

My water tank is missing, but the intention is to put back a new bespoke one. However, the exhaust goes right through where the water tank was - and might be the reason it is missing. I guess I have a non-standard exhaust.

Am after one of them stainless exhaust systems please. Wilmas pipe gave up the will to silence last w/end. Though sounds like Starkeys Gran Torino tis a tad embarrising, specially at 5 mph........ Can`t hear the wife though...

Stainless is nice and shiny and doesn't rot, mild steel isn't and does :I

Sorry Matt, I know what you really meant I haven't done mild steel ones, as there wasn't a great deal of difference in price.

It was curiosity about the quality of the two types of steel more than anything (coz i know very little about that sort of thing). We are installing a new kitchen and i can't afford a new exhaust, even though Pootle will need one very shortly.
I will be in touch when i have saved up my pennies though.

Thanks Martin have had just found that the manifold has broken[V] which has caused all the noise. May yet need an exhaust plus a couple of other items.

Just fitted an Autosleeper tank to a van with one of the new s/s exhausts. Fits perfect with no interference
