Whatever it is they fit to '91 Coopers, the book just says SU HIF. It's 1 3/4" choke.

thats a square flange with 4 bolts i think, consider it on my pending list :)

Correct, pending is good - it'll be a while before I'm ready for it - having trouble with neighbours, for some reason they don't like the sound of an angle grinder attacking a camper roof [V]

While you're around Tim - what do you think about gasless MIGs, my old Migmate is a bit knackered and I'm looking to replace it and, as I don't do that much welding, don't want to spend a fortune.

some neighbours just dont appreciate good music [V]
cant say i have ever got involved with the gasless migs so i cant really comment. i have heard good and bad about them.
i would stick with a normal mig, there is plenty of choice on ebay and they are so cheap now. best to get one with the highest o.c.v possible and more amps the better as they are more stable lower down, nothing worse than a set that wont melt bacofoil [xx(].
gas can be blagged from the local pub, its not strictly a welding gas but basically co2 and good enough for body panels.
kempii, migatronic, esab, murex all make good sets :)
