Can anyone recammend an electronic ignition for my camper ambulance.

the lucas dizzy fitted to the mini is the same mounting plate for the points as the commer so an aftermarket mini one will fit got a part number somewhere will dig it out [8D]

damn beaten to it, ive noticed they are the same as minors and early marina 1300s too so my spare leccy ignition for Sams marina powered minor will now be put to good use on charlie

i should think pretty much anything that has the lucas 25d4 dizzy will fit the commer

apart from some of the later ones from about 76 onwards some were fitted with ducellier dizzy's

The first number (25D4) I think only describes the casing, jack cog & cam spindle. Wouldnt the bob weights (and thus the advance curve) be wrong from a Mini. Tne A series mill is much peakier than the Commer. I think it would fit fine and work, but not as well as it should.
