Electronic falsher unit..

Can anyone put me onto the correct type of electronic flasher unit for my highwayman to make the flah rate constant when I have my trailer plugged in as well please?

At the moment is goes like billy-oh when I have the trailer board on and very slow without....I'm guessing an electronic one will sort this out. Any thoughts welcome.

Cheers

Best to get the proper trailer wiring kit, which comes with the relays. Available from any good parts shop or trailer specialist. ;)

how about this? there are a few different kits available, a normal one, a 3 way relay and a 7 way relay. I presume the relay is there so you are not asking the flasher unit on the van to power the lighting board too....

Just an update on this.

I bought an off-the-shelf 4 pin electronic flasher unit (takes up to to 4 21w bulbs) for £9, earthed it and put the two spade terminals from the existing flasher onto it and hey presto, I now has flashers which are constant with the trailer board attached.
