electrical fault - no fan or wipers now !

In attempting to re-connect the cigarette lighter we touched the positive feed onto the small connectors to the left hand side of metal casing to left of steering column.
neither fan nor wipers now work - all else seems as before but we cant seem to reinstate power nor find fuses
picture attached to help identify problem.
please help as we had planned to go away in her on friday and still haven't fixed indicators yet either - wiring nightmares !

Yes, under the parcel shelf on the drivers side. A little black box(if it's still got it's cover and hasn't been painted over) containing two fuses. One has most surely popped.
