In a moment of madness snapped this up yesterday. Not picking it up until the new year. Looks to be in good shape and only been off the road for a couple of years in dry storage.

Reasure me that I did the right thing. The other half isn't so sure (to put it mildly)...

Looks like a good buy Tom. How much did you pay for it? What year is it as I can't really see in the picture. The other halfs are always unsure Tom, you've done the right thing, well done.

Looks like a nice Christmas present to me, congratulations.
Are the wheels normal or are they specials[?].Just think when you're sat out somewhere, in the sun, her indoors will think differently.[8D]

Well done! We're on exactly the same journey having just bought something very similar.
They soon become another member of the family. But we want lots of piccies, especially what's going on underneath, cos that's the interesting bit!

Problem is our family is already bursting at the seems. The Commer Autohome is still well and truly in the make as we speak. But I have got an agenda for the pair of them at least. More on that later.

But glad you are all being so supportive - at least she's talking to me today ;)

It's a '72 1.7L. I know very little atm - update you as and when.

Wheels do look very odd. But don't think it'll take too much to get her back to where she is supposed to be.

I like this van, it looks in good condition aswell. Probably be able to get some hub caps for the wheels.

Well tomorrows the big day. Picking up the car transporter trailer in the morning to hitch up and massively overload my junior driving license. Fingers crossed I make it home alive!
