The seller says that the front needs painting and that the windscreen got smashed:I I'm sure I've seen this before.

so it's not you who has bid over £1 k blind, [xx(] smart move we think too.
would be interesting to see a pic of the front for curiosity sake.

can see a dodge dash on the interior shot [)], take it that is why there is no front shot of the van , hope who is bidding doesn't get caught out.

I do see a chrome headlamp ring on the passenger seat though:) I think the later dash came in the '72 model year.

I also detect that the owner is late 20's early 30's with a leaning to Ikea furniture but shops at B&Q, approximately 5' 10" with size nine an a half shoe who is a self emplloyed plumber. A hobby DIY'er but never finishes a job completely, the engine, I suspect, is a reliable runner and the owner is not really a home mechanic. The last meal to be cooked in the van was bacon - and the grill pan hasn't been washed properly:)

It's simple
Age of owner defined by big speakers and stereo - he used to be a boy racer but has now grown up a bit with a family but still likes to relive those days in his pimped Saxo - any taller than the estimated height and he wouldn't have fitted into the car and would have ridden a bike - no room for a boom box..
Clean looking interior with a hint a of a Scandinavian flavour but bargain price pseudo renaissance exterior hinges and handles straight off the 'brassed' isle at a leading DIY store. Taken reasonable care with the fit and finish of the cupboards but stopped when it came to the floor and didn't bother to finish the outside before he advertised it although it would increase the vans value enormously, conclusion to busy plumbing to finish anything properly.
If the engine was troublesome, or the owner had any intention of regularly checking under the engine, cover he wouldn't have made the table top so awkward to get off. As it shows no sign of rough or regular handling either of the above could be the case.
It's a camper, he's around thirty and a plumber (white van in the background - all self employed plumbers are thirty something and 5' 10")so his staple diet is coffee, burgers, beer and bacon - bacon was the last meal because - well it's a camper and who eats salad in a camper. It was grilled not fried and the grill pan was hastily pushed partly out of site to hide the grease.
As for the gutter drains - haven't a clue:)
