After winter in storge she started first turn of the key - well almost! Just had a quick run out and everything seems fine but is there anything I should be checking, changing or adjusting after a few months of hibernation?
My father in law gave me a dehumidifier which I ran in the van before it's first outing last Weekend to Creiff. In the space of a week it extracted 12 litres of water from it! I was staggered, but the van was almost completely condensation free when we woke up on the Sunday morning, usually at this time of year the windows are running with drips.
I would therefore highly reccomend putting one into your van/s before the season starts.
I have used refillable tray type ones they last about 3 mths, just empty at least once a week, gimp uses a tin of salt in cloe, also used a small portable electric one,it is amazing how much dryer it is after using them...
Get the ramps and grease gun out get pumping Adjust the brakes and check seals etc for weeps and leaks - not forgetting to look around for any tell tail signs of corrosion, the sooner you treat it the less likely it will give you a problem in the future.
Crikey did I just say that lot - a bit sensible for me :I
