Dust seal

I dont think this will affect many people ,but when I did my van up I made a huge mistake .Before fitting the interior I should have filled the gap between the floor and the side,s of the van .When I took it on its firstaround Australia trip, on dirt roads all the cabinet,s filled with dust. When I got home I put on a lift and filled all the box frame and any hole I could see with no more gaps expanding sealant .This did the trick but it would have been a better and easier job to do it before cabinet fitment. IF any Australian members come across some good front doors please give me a call .

Hi Thomo,I must just be lucky, no holes and no dust except for around worn door seals.

Erm - I don't think there are supposed to be any gaps between the outside and in - except for the ones you look and climb in through:I

The gaps are were the water drains from the sink and goes up from the water tank and the odd electrical cable I also run a dual battery set up with the second in the back. That out back red dust is veeery fine .I did think that there was a gap between the floor and the sides of the van ,but with everthing installed I can no longer see there .I was wondering how my status changed from starting member to new member

I think it happened when you passed the 50 post mark:)
Ah I see how the dust gets in now, I have the same trouble with rain and mice:I
