Driving Miss Daisy.....

I love driving my van about, it's become my preferred mode of transport. I was planning to garage it and use it occasionally but I've grown so fond of it I don't want to move it from our drive, my neighbours love having parked outside of their house as well. Any way it's very slow 0-60 in 3hrs, but I like the slow pace I find it relaxing, less relaxing however are the crazy drivers who frequent inner London roads who find travelling at anything below 30mph abhorrent. I just had a loony behind me who decided to try and overtake me on a residential road, on a bend with a car coming in the opposite direction, needless to say an accident nearly occured between mr nuts and the poor chap on the other side of road - of course it was my fault, Mr Nuts then decided to tail gate me all the while gesticulating with abandon, so I turned off and then he drove past me and I gave him a look of bewilderment and sorrow for his condition. Anyway to my horror he then does a mad U-Turn and proceeds to follow me until I pulled over, must say I was rather perturbed by this point when his car drew side by side he simply stuck his middle finger up at me and drove off. So now I'm parked up at the side of the road still and I'm making a cuppa to calm my nerves.

You did the right thing, it's a pity some other road users aren't as curteous[V]
It would be nice to have Kermit's power sometimes - just to put these idiots in their place[}:)]

I would suggest driving to the nearest police station and pulling up outside but as the Mayor's Office is currently selling off most of the real estate for a quick buck that won't help!
