Does anyone know the way I should wire up a new inline water pump and foot pressure switch I have just bought please?

They have a live and earth wire coming from each...? In what order and to where do i wire them? - help!

I guess there should be a fused live to the foot switch, then the other switch connection wired to the live on the pump and the other pump connection to earth.

Try it with a live feed to the switch, switch earth to the pump live, pump earth to....... earth :)

have you got a new water tank ray? what sort do you have Ali or plastic ? (be careful these old campers on board tanks can be full of germs & parasites [V] )

Yes I do still use my original tank!!![:0] - it seems in decent nick and I always flush it through... Has been fine for the last 6 years.

How much are the plastic ones?
 
not sure but most of the water tanks I have seen are metal but we do have a old plastic one,aqua rolls can be filled up on sites saving carrying unnecessary weight ;)you only have to look for aqua roll on e bay bit pricey I think a good investment you get a kit for on site to automatically fill it etc.

I have been looking for a new water tank for Babs. The original tank is missing, possibly because the new exhaust seems to be where it was mounted. Were there different exhausts for the autosleepers to avoid their water tanks?

I have found a few sites, but with the exhaust where it is, I am not sure if I can find one suitable. A lot of the modern ones seem to be designed to go in specific vehicles.

Got new inline pump sorted, fitted to my original tank... works a treat. Promise to put some snaps up soon, if anybody ineterested.
 
We always love a few pictures:D and any tips or info are always interesting

How did you get on with the o/drive?
