Incidentally, I thought Studiocommer might want to upload this onto the archive. It's a story from the sixties about eleven guys going surfingto Portugal in a Commer. I realise there won't be much surfing going on til the titanium's set firm but I found it while surfing (the internet) and IMO it's Commer Gold.

cheers bud .. when the glue is set i shall either climb aboard or in one of my toys all pop up that way 4 a coffee ... for a while at least my commer ownership days are over (dont crucify me) house is falling apart round me and need to get my workshop up and running as a form of income ... i did replace the commer with something else though ... not often you find a motor that is just your cup of tea and its got all your initials as its registration ;; odd owning something that someone else has built ..but its done to such a good standard .avin said that i will make it mine (paint job etc)..

great to hear from you Dozer- hope all healing as it should. Good luck with workshop stuff - am intrigued to know what the new wheels with your initials would be:p

absolutely beautiful car - can see why it's got your initials on it, and if pushed have to admit if you had to replace the commer - that is a reasonable choice;):)
