Highbridge ish

Not sure if Martin's son or commerchris' contact are looking for work later in the year?

the van would be going to burnham on sea. hi hazel am recovering slowly but as you can imagine every day things lke useing the toilet when youve cant bend your leg becomes an adventure lol .. not quite sure what to say about the van yes i can do everything here but are you sure you wouldnt prefer to start with a more solid example [?] everything is fixable and im happy to do it but thats a lot of work ..you could proberly get a more solid van if you looked around cheaper than the price of the repairs and use yours as a donner .. fabricating new guttering then then making both roof and body to fix it to all the way across ??? OR we can find a van thats rotten at the bottom with a good roof and cut that of or the parts we need and weld them in to yours ... all sounds scary but its not :D and iv only seen the pics it mite not be as bad in the flesh ...:D:D whats the bottom or the sills like as didnt have pics of those ..... cheers for now

me again just seen the photo bucket pics they are different to those you sent me they don't show the extent of the rot round parts of the roof but it is much cleaner now its had a bath :D woolfy makes a lot of the panels needed so mite be worth getting a catalogue from him :) if you do decide you want it done earlier than i can do it then take note you get what you pay for keep and eye on what they are doing as you don't want to spend good money only to have rust showing again in a couple of months where they've filled it bits where it should of been welded ...try and look at jobs they've done about a 8 months to a year previously . iv seen enough people ripped of with out it being fellow classic fans .. thats my rant done [}:)] chat soon :D

Hi Dozer, good to hear from you - hope all went well and recovery proves as swift as some of your motors[8D] get well soon[:X]

Good to hear from you again we are quite happy for you to do the job. Not wanting to pester but when would we realisticlly be looking at geting the van down to you to start. The van has been in the family too long to use as a donor vehicle its full of memorys. Having said that getting a rotten one to use as a donor doesnt sound a bad idea, would we have to supply the donor van or have you some contacts. We do realise its not going to be a cheap job but we do want a good job doing and as you said too many people will rip you off with expensive , rubbish jobs. I no its as long as a piece off string but have you got a roughish figure for the job? Would anymore pics help you at all let me no?

Cheers Hazel
