The layout will be similar but the measurements will be all wrong as a Commer is larger with the engine in the proper place.

Scroll down to the bottom of this page and you will find basic measurements for the Auto-Sleeper interior, no side door but it may be of help.

Thanks for your help guys, I was just thinking that it might be of been a easy way to get genuine Dormobile cabinets as they must be a lot more VW's around that Commers but no good if they are a totally different size.

We do. Along with another Martin Watts all about the Dormobile. He's gonna be well loved and used again.

Duke doesn't have the middle seat. Instead the rear is rock and roll and there's its a rear facing folding seat behind the fronts to form a dinette. This works really well.

Thanks for the pictures, they'll be a great help, I've managed to get hold of a 3 plus 2 seats out of a Dormobile from Christine Brown and I just picked up some old Dormobile cabinets out of a VW which I should hopefully be able to make fit some how.

Hi I was wondering if anyone has a spare side door for a Commer? Mine is in a the paint shop and he's noticed it's starting to rot along the top edge.

I ordered some from Martin. They arrived cut to size, with the corners neatly glued and ready to fit. It took a couple of hours with a pair of blunt screwdrivers to fit them. The doors are a touch tight to shut, but this should ease over time.
