Also a common problem is the gear linkage bushes x2. Martin sells them cheap, simple job skill wise but a real pain to put in the front one. Don't do it in the cold cause you get a few rapped knuckles :). They're riveted in before you start so worth having a gun ready if you do change them.

had a prod about today not good news i'm afraid [V]
will take me a lot longer to get the money to pay and get this sorted properly ,
fibre glass and filler...[}:)]
needs major work on the front panel alone, inner sills are shot too, went on to
the forum to see if any panels were for sale as I need "all" the lower outer panels and door sills .going by the prices of available panels will not get change of a grand ,then labour[xx(]
but determind to get my dream sorted

didn't find the old auto sleeper badge inside , so looks quite an expensive job in toll which is not good news .
Also found I drove home with no front lights "thought the lights were not very strong" , a bit luck on my side ,found the lpg hose had rubbed all the braided coating off , as it was rubbing off the rocker cover , the chance I took without checking properly myself first.:I
on the plus side today got the radio to work by plugging in the ariel :)
 
Ouch!:( ......I'm not sure if it's for sale but I know Tim (Commeracer) has a spare front panel and his rates are reasonable...;)
