have paid my deposit and going down on Monday to widnes.
it ticks all the box's for us and some :p:p,

an experience dodging lorry,s...they took turns to see who got the closest[}:)]

forgot the table in our haste?{ wife annoyed with me again} and the lpg certificate for the insurance company ....double bugger[:eek:)]

could you send it recorded post please jimmy...:I

drove up well until it decided to stop @ bigger and the ignition key just turned in the barrel ...bugger I thought , until the mechanic from the local garage helped me with a screwdriver to start!
from dalkeith and I didn't know that one?
brakes are non existing from laying up for a year , interesting driving...anticipation
overdrive was great, comfy seats and the suspension was nice and soft for a long haul. ,and it also ran better on gas as jimmy said .
will do the body work over time , plenty to keep me busy,
steak and chips treat to finish a good day.

Glad you made it home without too many dramas:D Have you looked for the table behind the offside bench seat, there's a wooden flap behind the cushions that folds down revealing a storage space for the table top.
Don't worry your missus will love Dora[^]

The table is behind the drivers seat (it fits in the centre to make up the bed)twist the little cup hook and the plywood flap drops down, there are two wing nut bolts in front of the engine flap they screw out and the table bolts in there,push the back of the ignition switch back on and it will be fine it some times comes loose ,

thanks jimmy for all your help , what was it you put on the units was it a light oak polish ? so I can match it in. also what engine is it for getting a clutch as I am struggling getting gears . Will give your van a good home , my daughter has named him " Russell " from Disney film UP , reg number UPU ...SAYS I LOOK LIKE THE OLD BLOKE IN IT TOO...:D

not one to rush things , searched for a few years for a van till the right 1 came along.:)

keep me in mind if you find any repair panels on your travels

I'd check the clutch slave cylinder first, they have a habit of leaking if a van's been laid up for a while. I think Jimmy used my old favourite on the cabinets - Danish oil:)
