doors

If anybody in Australia comes across some good front doors for a commer could they ring Peter on 02 94195774

Hi Peter, are they for a PB or PA model? (Reason for asking is they are similar door shapes etc for both models, but different type of window winding mechanism on the later model PB if you need to swap them over due to a seized or damaged mechanism). Anyone else on the forum able to confirm this ?

You may be still fortunate getting a good set of doors that don't require any work at all like seized/damaged winding mechanisms.

I would take any door that had no rust ,as I made the bottom section inner and outer for my car ,and they are not quite right .

Yes the winder mechanism is different between the PA and PB models but you can fit either mechanism to either door, all you have to do is drill 3 mounting holes.
You should never let this put you off buying rust free doors.....there are not that many out there!

just to add! /.....the quatre lights fit both PA & PB AND indeed the later DODGE model...:D

The dodge and indeed all the last models with the face lift have completely different doors and they take some modifying to get to fit, i know because ive done it!!!

Hi, it's an old thread but can you help,

I've just bought my first Dodge and loving it but drivers door is shot... have been offered a totally rust free Commer door. Is it a case of welding the square inside panel bit around the inside door pull handle and welding a new bit around the slam panel on the door around the lock. Is the lock on the door post the same and in the same location?

Need a fast response as go to pick up this door next week
Kind Regards
