Hi all
Just about to produce some door cards for skye and wondering if anyone has usefull hints and tips for producing etc.
My idea so far is to use 3mm ply, then cut and drill using remains of present cards as templates. Then glue fine skye blue carpet on the top of ply (mostly for sound deadening). This is dependant on coming up with a suitable way of edging the ply and carpet. I will need new door card clips as I've destroyed most of the old ones, whilst fixing and lubricating locks, fitting weatherstrips and 2nd user quaterlights.
(Where can I get door card clips from?)
(How would you edge ply with a carpet veneer?)
(Is there a better solution?)
The above is only an provisional plan, so any advice greatly appreciated.
Ta, Andy
