Before you put the drums back on turn both adjusters anti-clockwise so they are at their lowest point. Replace the drum securely with the little screw tightened up then turn the drum until you can see one of the the adjuster screws through the hole in the drum. Turn the adjuster screw clockwise until it stops, give the drum a couple of sharp taps with a mallet to centre the shoes and see if the drum still turns, if it does try turning the adjuster again until it stops and the drum is tight then back it off a click or two so the drum spins freely. Repeat with the other adjuster.
You won't damage the cylinders if you over adjust. Thks panky , I just took shoes off to be relined , hopefully will get them done tommorrow , cylinders are still on at the moment didnt want to take them off till i have everything to put back onn . Thanks for the guide , it was pretty easy to get the shoes off once u told me how to adjust, biggest job was clean everything . Cheers mate
