Paul did you know there is a classic camper show at the museum of power on the 14th of july! Be nice to see you there if you can make it. There should be at least 1 other commer there besides mine, belongs to an old couple who i only seem to see at the MoP so they must live local. Unfortunately they don't do the internet so don't come on here.
Anyone who fancies a trip to the depths of Essex are also welcome as i fear there will be a derth of darksiders :I amoungst a host of CF's and sherpers etc.
I will update when i know more......see meets and shows

some progress made today i cut a big rectangular hole in my drivers side floor, about 3" by 9-10" which makes access to the brake and clutch cylinders fab also made a cover plate approx 4.5" by 12". im going to drill the holes out and weld nuts underneath so that i can put a seal on it and bolt it down tight why i was there i noticed that the little rubber pipe on the brake master cylinder was starting to look a bit old hat so i whipped off the pipe and i will replace that why i am there [^] why i was doing that mel was busy with my grinder and wire wheel to clean up some of my new inner sills and gave them a good coat of red oxide so im starting to feel like we are getting somewhere lol the welds in the front inner arches looked a mess (didnt want to grind them back yet) but im pleased to say mel started there as well and most of the drivers side cab is now red, and looks MUCH nicer [^] i am however irritated [!] i mounted my exhaust hanger and fitted a new gasket but after running it this morning i realised that the whole system is baggy [V] is it common for the bolts to work loose when they warm up [?]

Try fitting a metal strap from the exhaust to one of the gearbox bolts, that should hold it firmly so the system moves with the engine and wont flex as much.
The exhaust does loosen a bit with the heat initially, tighten it up again......I did exactly what Panky said re making up a clamp and securing it to one of the gearbox bolts..I think I used a large jubilee clip and a small 'L' shaped bit of an old bookshelf bracket and it did the job very well
It was ace, it's like a 'copy' of an RC40 and cost about £58 ...took me ages trolling through my smurf thread to find the pic, there is a link on the thread somewhere around page 25 -30 ish
