i have seen the glendale body on a cf and there is also a talbot express with the glendale body on less than a mile from me for sale:) i cant stand the talbot express[V]

got hold of barry granger insurance today to sort out the insurance for next month, fully comp with max no claims, was quoted £403 i was recommended these my martin m dont know if they thought i had some american motorhome or something but i see most of you guys/girls are paying in the region of £100-£150. any more recommendations please? thanks;)

Did you tell them you are having it restored? this could explain a higher premium,all policy's have gone up was on the news not so long ago.

Hi Mark are you insuring the Glendale as you first vehicle, many of us have our vans on restricted mileage classic policies as a second or third vehicle. Harvey's with BG for just over the ton.

I find phoning around better than the net they seem to hike the price up.have a look in you classic mags for insurers Rh is on here some where I don't think 400 is overly bad for a restored van but sure you could get that down a bit be nice if you could at least halve it

hi panky told bg was a second vehicle with a 3000 mile limit, i am just not convinced they knew my van, kept asking if it was a lhd import:(

it's like a vw with a coach built may also help :I just realised as well yours is dodge badged tell them you want to insure your commer it's dodge badged

Have another chat with them Mark, I think they don't realise it's really a Commer! I have 4 on one policy for £430, that includes the TV van at £20,000 and the Hadrian at £10,000!
