DODGE SUPERVISTA

number plate is R400TES,bought it direct from the dvla 2 years ago for £399.its on our works van and trailer, caused a great deal of comment last year when we drove it into the nec to offload the pa rootes van onto the arcc stand
we tried without any luck to find out about the conversion so any help greatly appreciated, thought at first if it could be a norfolk broads boatbuilder as some of the broads boats have a similar window but its definetly a moulded window to fit the commer/dodge

restoration is now well under way. had to remove the fridge as the drain holes had got blocked and as noone had put any sealant on the cutouts the floor had to be replaced as well as the top of the rear outrigger.both sills inner and outer have been replaced on both sides as well as a passenger side lower rear corner replaced and the neccesary inner repairs done. all in all a very productive monday.

A super purchase :p Steve, and something a little different as well.
Will you be going to Newark this week-end[?][?]
Cheers

back to my "rootes"

hi trev
no not going this week,we normally dont bother over the summer as the autojumblers are spread far and wide with the glut of other shows that are on,summer at newark tends to be mostly bikes
if you get desperate let us know and we will find another way of getting it to you

Still no rush as i'm not changing the box until the end of the show/week-end away season, so i'll probably catch up with you November/December time.
Cheers

another weekend spent on the van and yet more holes discoverd now gotta patch the rear arches and almost all the floor where it sits over the box sections. at the moment its all cut out and looking like a culinder but should be welded back together by the end of the week.

I know the feeling well :I Good luck - we'll compare notes at the end. I'll show you how I did it and you can show me the proper way :)

God you have been busy too :) looking good, looks like they are all waiting in a queue at yours too!!!! The vans that is :)

Cazz...Is smiling again, as Smurf is on the mend!!!!

another day another hole or should that be 5. been on the van all day today and the resulting casualty list is as follows drivers side front valence is scrap the drivers side outer sill is scrap. the drivers side inner wheelarch tub that u can only see from underneath 7inches of it is scrap. the passenger side inner wheel arch again about 7 or 8 inches of it is scrap and the passenger side front valence was scrap but has now been plated in 4 places ground and smoothed with a bit of filler. however thers nowhere left that can possibly be rusty now so a weeks welding and we should be good again.

nice work as always steve, i see you have the luxury of working under axel stands like me. no hydrolic lift here.:(:D
