DODGE SUPERVISTA

Always feels like a little struggle for air in higher revs underload , after various configurations I’m putting it down to the small air box. Invested in a Med Engineering hiff44 stub stack kit which gets rave reviews. Fitted like a glove - test run tomorrow!

:D insanely quiet - on the driveway at least, I was expecting some loud induction noise but nothing. Hit my 50’s now so that’s all good

I'm a couple of decades ahead of you and I've gone for a more peaceful ride for Harvey. Gone is the two inch cannon exhaust and replaced with a modified 1 1/2" Mini system (the original one I took off the Cooper) - so much quieter but doesn't seem to have dulled the performance, still a throaty grumble from the K&N though ;)

I went for a nice quiet custom exhaust from Tony Banks in my early 40’s :)
Did go loud for a year or two with one of martins but reverted back to piece and quiet. The cabs so insulated now you can have a normal conversation on the motorway!

Picked up some spares yesterday from Peterborough.
A good steering column, wheel and steering arms. Plan is to look at doing a power steering conversion at some point and don’t want to chop the one on the van up just in case it goes horribly wrong :)

Been restoring a set of Bench fold down seats (Wanderer)? Finally complete and test fitted today. Looking forward to bolting them down though might need a different engine lid to clear it as mines got the thicker soundproofed version
