DODGE SUPERVISTA

Hinges and struts fitted today and the £30 ladder arrived all works very well togeather. Got the bbq, , charcoal, large awning, 4x chairs, scooter, pop up tent and various other bits in there...it’s like a Tardis (no room for a Toilet though Colin)

Yer thought about that but did wonder on the legality of it :) got one of those telescopic ladders for now which is quite useful for rescuing cats and generally being the campsite hero. Fitting the spare on the front at some point to allow for water and gas to go under the van, will be incorporating some type of rungs into that I think
Like a boat transom ladder, cos they have a fold down bit?

Ha yep defo, I get 4mm clearance on the garage with the new wheels and tyres, I should say perfect measuring but was more luck I think!
Roof rack is a modified VW one, needed slats adding as over stretched and not strong enough to take much weight otherwise

That was a bit of luck lol. I had the same putting this up. I was so busy making sure the threaded bars were level and true it wasn’t till the hole was half full of concrete that a neighbour asked if it would clear the carport? 10mm it turned out:eek: never even crossed my mind424DCF44-21DD-4349-8CEA-E225E96739E6.jpeg

Been tinkering again...fitted a supplementary radiator tonight to help with cooling, works a treat. Stone guard made from a recycled Compaq server hard disk cradle. Thanks to Panky pointing me to a KTM motorcross rad which fits lovely under there. Also stepped down the fuel filler to 44mm with an exhaust reducer and fitted a proper fuel filler pipe, before the filler was 50mm and the tank 44mm which made it impossible to get a flexi pipe between them...always had a smell of fuel vapour which turned out to be the original filler pipe being ‘fuel resistant’ and not for continued exposure to fuel and though looked fine the vapour was coming through to an extent that you could smell it from 10 meters away. All good now. Also temporarily gone back to 15” wheels ready for trip to France...the extra 7 mph they offer will be important :)2859EA11-BEDE-40FD-A43A-6514B8DA025B.jpeg9AA6AC1C-126E-4371-9ACF-DB2C607408D0.jpeg

Great stuff Jim:). Looks like I fitted it the other way round to you so the angled connection was at the top - gives a bit more room to push the rad up and out of the way.

It would’ve gone a bit higher but wanted some pushed airflow through it, only gets near red when motorway driving at higher rpm. also bends faced inwards this way round so easier the plumb in. I’ve got a heavy gauge tow hook it’s mounted to which should hopefully protect it from curbs etc

Looking at them they are slightly different rads too, this was from a 2004 250cc had three pipes so had to block one off and the other two come out at a right angle
