DODGE SUPERVISTA

Excellent, got a similar set up on Bonnie but with a fixed rail. Cant say I'd feel safe with the fire under the awning though

nah was toastie - especially when it caught :) the pic makes it look a lot closer (or the fire bigger) than it was, result of using a camera phone

Been burning the midnight oil... Engine and box out. Turns out the engines been reconed at the factory once before, has a plate on it saying +30 pistons even though the pistons aren't stamped... Strange. Least I've got +40 to go in hopefully fit ok. Axle off next week to fit new diff WP_20160109_00_44_05_Pro.jpg

Well done that man:) But do me a favour and get something more substantial to sling the engine with when you put it back:eek:

I know you're right :)...it was late and all I had about, I had my fingers crossed which helped.
Anyway went straight onto engine mount so starting the strip down WP_20160109_17_48_34_Pro.jpg

OOOOOOOOOOOOOO that engine stand seems a bit flimsy to me;)
I've taken similar chances too we all have, but I use a piece of chain attached to the head studs now:)

Yer that's the way I'll go putting it back.
Regarding the hoist was looking at hiring one but they're £30 a day was cheaper to buy one... Thinking might rent it out at £15 a day!

Considering its only been about 3000 miles since the head was last off the pistons are completely coked up, different between pistons so guess its burning oil badly. New oil pump ordered and the short block off for refresh Friday
