Dodge minibus SOP 405S

Remade exhaust to run along n/s Exaust manifold blow repaired and refitted.Rocker gasket replaced.Air filter refitted and testran.Van going a lot better.Wheel carrier now on van.Take it for a run tomorrow night
 
You'll be able to hold a conversation with you passengers at 30mph now:)
A word of advice with the spare wheel carrier, Make sure the bracket that attaches to the chassis is well secured, they are normally only pop-riveted on and have been known to fail - not nice running over your spare wheel:eek:
 
Thanks means a lot.Fitted new fuel filler hose today getting read for Commerfest:).Off to work now 3am finish.back up at 9:( then out for run in van:):):):):)

Please can I have a ride in your bus at Commerfest I use to be a passenger in one in the 70's. Bernie says you can take us all to the beer tent and back :D:p:D:p:D:p:D:p
 
Dodge number two will be on the way north on Thursday.Did not take long to get a camper project.May take a lot longer to get it back on the road.:):)
 
Bus is away to get it's new graphics.Spent the night working on my peugeot 306 convertible to fill in the time till my camper arrives or I get my bus back.

Excellent, they do attract attention:cool: There were a couple of Chinese students in Bonnie today taking selfies, duck faces and all:rolleyes:
 
Got my Dodge motor home from fleebay back to the yard today. Quick look at the van.Was turning over and kicking back on it's self. Quick turn of the distributer burst into life.Starts and runs fine.Run up and down the yard stops fine.In not to bad shape and the box in the back had lots of spares.Someone said at commerfest that they are ugly And yes it is ugly.RESULT
 
Glad to hear that the Dodge made it to your yard eventually. On my journey to Commerfest I didn't see another Commer or Dodge, so how ironic that the one you saw, was your own going in the opposite direction! Any chance of some pics?
