dodge camper

this was on ebay before xmas, unloved and unwanted so we got it for£175.needed brake cylinders and handbrake cable.it was sold as a non runner as the chap had decided to remove the thermostat rounded the nuts and then just hacksawed the thermostat housings off!!got it back to work and it really wasnt as bad as it seemed it was just really dirty with all the window channels and gutters filled with moss.passed the mot first time and we started to strip it to bare metal on good friday.5 layers of paint white to yellow to orange to brown to its original blue.it needs a couple of small front valance patches.ribbed sides are shot so will replace with flat section .panel under back doors will be replaced with a new one and will replace the rear doors with better second hand ones,7 owners and 44000miles runs really well.
will be chrysler blue with a repainted white roof, probably not putting the dodge grill back tho

Its not bad under all the layers of paint..
They must have helped to save it..
Nice one Steve.. :)

(Im like a man out of jail with all my posts tonight:D)

last one now ..

How long did it take with the paint stripper, that's a pretty thorough job you've done there?

Have you thought about using Woolfy's replacement ribbed panels for the side? It looks better without the plastic grill already. How are you going to finish the front panel?

Keep up the good work.

very similar to the one in yorkshire for sale if any one is interested :p£350.00 what a bargain :)
