Do you talk to your vans ???

I think i must have lost it lol

When Bluebell arrived last night and we were looking over her, i found myself going up to Smurf and lovingly patting her, and telling her 'Not too worry, we still love her' :D

Cazz... student commerade!!!!

Cazz, lets face it - We are all a little bit sad aren't we, i mean - We sit outside our houses in them and drink tea. Some of us have mentioned wanting to sleep in them ( Outside our houses ) i have this thing where i have to clean the windows before going out in it so i don't have to wet the windows and have unwanted drips down the van ( I use a spray and a cloth ) i also find that when i'm bored i tend to go and sit in the van and tinker...Not really achieving anything, i find that within a few mins i have found something to to?? Commer Karma maybe? I have a Commer O.C.D too when it comes to washing it. I have to make sure that it's bone dry after cleaning - I'm totally obsessed with drying everything off, under doors/inside of doors/underneath, the lot. And lastly yeah, i do talk to it mainly when i'm cleaning it....Goes a bit like this......Cmon Dukey let's get you cleaned under there.....Ooooops we've missed a bit, cmon mate help me out here!!! Now, mentalism, what were we saying?

Harvey's ears have been bleeding a bit recently [8)] Not the nicest of conversations unfortunately.

I always pat Frodo on the dash and say" Good Frodo!" when he manages a hill, or when we've finished a journey!

So we do all do it lol, i am not so crazy after all.

Well i suppose after all, they do all have a little personality all of their own, so you just cannot help it.

I had to laugh to myself yesterday, b4 bluebell arrived, i was looking in the back of Smurf, you know they have that sort of weird old smell about them..which i love. My neighbour and i were sniffing the air at the back of Smurf's closed doors, hope the neighbours weren't watching lol.

Cazz I am getting woried about you and our neighbour lol

Seriously though

I talk to Smurf every day when I get home from work & I say ''hello beautiful, how are you today? Don't worry, just coz I go off in a newish van to do boring work, I would much rather sleep in you any day:D:D then sad ,I say to our 02 Toyota.....love you too!

whenever i talk to them it consists of "start you f******g b*******d" :D

"you were only supposed to blow the bloody SLIDING doors off"

Hate to admit it, but I've spoken to mine a few times... often along the lines of 'We'll get you sorted soon mate!' when I'm feeling guilty about work that needs doing!

Also find myself going a bit mad when driving away from a successful MOT, which always makes me feel like I've achieved some sort of victory, a bit like scoring a goal?!

I regularly talk to my fleet. Jessica gets reasuring peptalks every now and then. Molly,(the morris minor) gets regular chats (especially when I'm spending quality time with her). We've been together so long, she's part of the family. When I see old friends its "hello , how are you? how is the family? how is molly?"

these old cars just get under your skin!
