Nifty. I like the footnote at the end advising to use flame retardant polystyrene after Mr fields forgot to mention it. Good idea to use flame retardant fibreglass for the seat covers too - the friction twixed cushion and bare leg must create a vast amount of heat[:0]

At £2.50 for the interior wood I think I may have been tempted - but a hardbboard floor[:0] it would have lasted 10 minutes - tops[xx(]

Huh! They can't even spell Chandlers Ford properly!

Love the way it makes cutting the panels and fitting the windows sound so easy.

If I told you I was a pathological liar, would you believe me?

One is not a cheapskate if you please sir!!

Just heard through the Rover Sports Registrar, when one was a member, that was the thing to do!

The judges used to come round and after giving one's vehicle a thorough inspection, they used to balance a 50p on top of the engine and test it's 'tuning' by seeing if the 50p would sit still or fall:D

....araldite a 50p on in readiness;) when I worked in motor museum many moons ago there was a poster there with same test mentioned - think it may have been for BMW but not sure now.

It was the mention of the dreaded chipboard that worried me for conversion..... instant recipe for porridge in a leaky van - especially if you've not cut yer window holes to superbly engineered tolerances :I

I did the 50p test om my BSA many moons ago, interestingly (or not) it didn,t work with the crank,s original 58% balance factor, but did when it was re-balanced to 65% (increasing horizontal imbalance but reducing vertical) :)
