differential oil

now that the Dog is parked on proper tarmac rather than the wood chippings at home, I can now see where all the oil leaks are

1. gearbox output shaft seal (if thats what its called) - about a teaspoon on the floor
2. Diff front seal (same qty)

Now my understanding is that I should use good quality engine oil in the gearbox, we have 15/40 at work

not sure what to put in the diff, looking in stores we have:

EP320 & EP460 - would these be ok and should i go for the more viscous EP460 (475 centistokes at 40c)? or the lower 320 centistokes?

have just found some EP100 and EP80, will put the EP100 in as it will leak less, - I only have 15/40 for the gearbox at the moment, that will be better than nothing
