Differential oil leak

Hi. Oil leak from front of diff on Pootle is now quit bad so need to replace oilseal I guess. Is it a big job? Drop shaft, then what?

Thanks for the link Panky. Getting the nut off in a similar way should be OK if air hammer doesn't do it. Getting it back tight with a torque wrench probably won't happen but I'll seal it with locktite. I know it needs to stay in place but setting the nut ball-breaking tight when the drive is splined never really makes much sense to me.... A tab washer would do too....

The torque is to set the loading on the bearings. When initially assembled there is a crush washer inside the diff that sets the initial pre-load. Saying that I just swung on a big bar when the nut came loose and it's been fine since ;)
