If your mates original diff is complete and just needs a rebuild or repair try Southern Axles in Queens Road Watford. He is brilliant at repairs and rebuilds, he has rebuilt a Ford Consul and Bedford CF diff for me in the last few years. There was also a company in Watford that used to recut crownwheels, pinions and the such but I am not sure if they are still in Watford or relocated now as I have`nt had to deal with them in about 15 years.

just pre warn him if i have got what he's after he'll have to arrange his own transport and it mite not be just the diff it may be a whole NEW rear axle in its crate.
