yeah thats what i thought but truth be told i could do with the money to buy a car, im considering breaking it up at the mo. its to good for that really but then again it would have alot of bits that people could use, like a full cooker, sink, fridge, pump, engine and box, axles. decisions decisions...

Cant see you making much money out of them bits and all the work breaking it up seems a bit much for the return[xx(]
yeah may be worth it, but i think i may be better off to try and keep it, i figure if i do the work it needs for the mot then i can use it til beggining of spring. then sell it with tax and test, gotta make sensible money then
hows this for irony[)], this morning i got up and thought, to hell with it, ill just keep it. so i went out and had a play with it (did some undersealing, put some primer over the bodywork that sort of thing) then as i was packing up. my phone rings. turns out my wife got an e-mail this morning why i was playing from a guy who wanted to bid but got home from work late[xx(]. he asked if he could come down from chatham to have a look on sat. and if he is not a messer he is bringing cash with him. fingers crossed[8D] turns out he is coming off a ban christmas like me and wants something cheap to insure.
so, the guy didnt turn up today, no e-mail, no call, no show. so its now on ebay again at a £595 buy it now as its got to go, im out of work and need a car to drive so i just dont have time to finish it
That's just wrong[!] why on earth would someone build your hopes up for nothing like that, it only takes a couple of seconds to ring or text[V]
Sorry you went through this Paul and good luck with the sale.
yeah tell me about it, i wouldnt mind but i went out in the freezing cold rain to pump up the tyres and get it out of my back garden so he didnt get mucky looking round it lol, but trying not to judge him to soon, its possible he just couldnt get up and plans to call tomorrow to come up. but i doubt it. Hows harvey getting on panky
Good on you guy for going out of your way preparing the van to make a good impression, just hope he hasn't missed a bargain:I
Harvey's great - we went out for a little jaunt today and he ran like a dream. I finally sorted out the gearknob when we got back, I drilled and pinned it to the gearstick to stop it coming off in my hand:I
