Cylinder head interchange help needed

I have a 68 auto sleeper with a 1725 , iron head, currently cracked.iron heads are extremely rare and about $300 here as-is in the states. I’ve tracked down a couple of spares but really can’t afford to buy the wrong type. Are there casting numbers I should be looking for, or a way to spot the right one? Unlikely one would come from a commer here but maybe a hillman?
 
It’s inside the head. It leaks directly into the exhaust port . Should I look for my exact head markings or is there interchange? I found 1 in the states and one in Canada, just want to be sure I get the right one
 
The above Ebay seller says in the listing :-
" I have around 8 of these heads and so am trying to pass them on rather than pay to store them. There are detail differences from the early 1390 and late 1725 head but essentially they are interchangeable and fit and work on all the engines "
Unfortunately, unless you collect yourself, you cannot check for cracks beforehand.
