curtains and curtain rails

Hi everyone, My loverly fiance has bought some material for ralph to replace his faded gingham curtains and out of date seat covers. My concern is that who ever did the curtains before discarded the curtain rails and used wire, which i have found not very practical. Ive searched for some pictures of interiors to see what everyone else is doing with regard to using the rails. cant really find any perhaps studiocommer might be able to help there, also if i go with curtain rails, where do we buy them from? I would really like to reinstall the one in the front of the cab which needs to be really flexible..

I ditched traditional curtains altogether and now the curtain panels are held on with poppers in each corner. One panel for each window in the van. It takes a little longer to put the curtains up, but it means I can see out of all the windows properly while I'm driving!

I have a document detailing the dimensions if you want it?

cheers

Rupert

Hi lancealot, Autosleeper used Silent Gliss runners for the side windows and partition curtains, they use special curtain tape, and they used swish curtain rail around the windscreen, this website may help you, look under upholstery www.rainbowconversions.co.uk ;)

Thanks for your replies, rainbow conversions aren't very far from me I've bought insulation and a tap from them before, the special tape they used for the curtains is it still available? Well I suppose I could ask rainbow as they sell the rest.
