I have been asked to be involved in a Diabetic Research project for the NHS, which as a Diabetic I am happy and quite excited to do so as anything to help further research is a positive. It involves 6 months of my time and around 10 hospital visits - starting next Thursday.
To prepare myself I need to have a good set of blood sugar readings, which they currently are due to lack of cake (most days) [xx(]
I turned up to a job today at a nice house right in the centre of Lincoln and after setting up the Dining Room table followed by the Kitchen and then photographing, I was asked to sit down in the Kitchen and told to tuck in....
I am DISGUSTED to say that I passed on cake [
!][:0][!] I sat and watched them (2 adults / 2 young chidren) almost finish it all!
I would like to thank you all though as it was a Conservative MP's house so via his exspenses you all may have chipped in
Lovely family though, current owners of a Series 2 Landrover, previous owners of a couple of Spitfires, Mk 1, Mk 2 Escorts amongst others!
