Coventry Meet Oct 09

Hiya All,had a brilliant week-end THANKS to Woolfy and everyone:D:D:D:D:D, i'm totally chilled now [8D][8D]after a clear run home.Did about 300 miles round trip, 25 to the gallon so reasonably happy with that, took just under 3 hours:):).Been busy emptying the van and putting every thing away:(.
Just sat down to see all your post and pic's and bl**dy great they are too.I also took a load of pic's so i'll get them uploaded ASAP.
Great to see everyone and meet all the new faces, at least new to me :p;).
Once again many thanks Woolfy and your farmer for putting this meet on and i look forward to the next one, next year.
CHEERS:D:D:D:D:D:p:p:p:p;);)

back to my "rootes"

My two toddlers enjoyed it to such an extent that they kept us awake most of the night! No you can't go out it's 3am! A cup of very strong coffee got a frazzled mum and dad back home whilst the two terrors slept the whole journey back! Great to see so many vans, and nice to meet so many fellow commer nuts! See you all soon.

Thanks all for putting on many superb photos. Great turnout, and you've seem to have had an excellent weekend.

I was in England last weekend, so a bit poor timing there.. Would loved to have been there with you all. But next year, that's a promise :)

So what happened to you, mr. Pankhurst? [:0] Or is it all too painful to talk about? :I

Glad you all had a great time, just sorry that we could only stay for a couple of hours. Still, loads of new vans and new faces - I can't remember everyones names though! Great work by Woolfy for putting it all on, can't wait to come again next year ;)

And the videos

Apologies for the noise in some, I forgot to turn the mic off! But at least it meant I got the siren. Unfortunately my camera decided to malfunction when I overtook the Commervoy on the dual carriageway.

We had a great time too. Just read all the comments about my Steptoe Moonwalk etc HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I'm sorry but that's all i could muster after all the wine and that single malt ( Thank's for that Matt;-) ) I make no excuse for my spider legs though but i can imagine i looked hideous - Thank the lord nobody recorded it! We met some great great people. It's funny how the love of a Camper van can bring so many GOOD people together like that - Of course, it needs chaps like Woolfy to arrange things, but you know my drift. The farmer was a gent aswell as his family.
Thanks for the crisps Colin, the Bush Pig enjoyed them royally after a skin full;-)
Thanks Panky for keeping the fire stoked up. Thankyou Chris for not letting your dogs out the van so mine could stay alive HAHAHAHA! Look forward to seeing everybody again at the next one and hopefully some new vans/faces too.

Turns out it was just down the road before i started to follow Baz...

Oooops, sorry Cazz! If you'd carried on following me you'd have ended up in London!

Big thanks to Woolfie for organising the meet. The 4 of us had a great time.
Also thanks to Martin for doing cups etc and being generally useful to have about.

A few people asked about the electric fan on the van (and why it keeps going for a few minutes after the engine is off). Here is a little bit of detail
