get a porta loo they are so much more convienient :I if I was given the choice between a porta loo & an awning I would take the porta loo....

right ok here is the good news, ive had a word with the farmer who owns my work shop and hes agreed to let us use the field next door to my unit, its nice and flat for the vehicles. we have even agreed to supply a portaloo toilet for everyones use,and we are going to set up a big markey tent thingy majig, we will have two big half barrel barbacues which we can use to cook food on, and my wife and friend have offered to make a big pot of curry and jacket potatoes and a full on buffet one of the nights for us to eat , we will have to chip in tho to help with the cost of the food ect.the farmer wants £10.00 per night per van or car this is to help pay for the hire of the loo ect and markey. if it all goes well on this outting and we have a good turn out he said he would maybe consider doing an even better one next summer and try to get some showers installed for proper camping times. if you are all up for it can you start to reply and tell me your names so i can keep track of numbers. i was also thinking of maybe inviteing people from the classic camper club and any other type of classic car clubs ,like the hillman avenger club . can you pass the word steve and richard, you can bring tents ect if you havent got a camper like me. the more people the better, if it goes really well we could start or own little classic camper and car show up as of next year. or if we can get good numbers this year and its worth while we could lay on a portable shower unit . please come back to me asap.

ok im open to suggestions, anyone else want to add a speech or speak their thoughts on this one. its going to be on the 16th 17th and 18th of next month or so i thought we had all agreed. it will be a good one to close the end of the summer camping season, unless we have that indian summer that they were all raving on about earlier on in the year, we could sit out in the sun and have christmas dinner on our laps. dont forget we can have our own commervoy down to the coventry car museum (free entry) if anyone has already been there im sure they will tell you how good it is.
Only thing is, you are heading in to the realm of a named show!
I think it is a really nice idea, I do not know the legalities of things but how about a small swap meet? I am sure that some people on here would have a few interesting items to sell.
As far as names go, I propose Woolfys 09.
