coventry commers bash 24-26 September

right ok here goes then i havent hung around on this,as soon as i got back from the great doo at the weekend ,i went too my unit too drop off the van. whilst there i bumped into rob the fantastic farmer who you all met last time around when you were here, and told him of the fantastic weekend we all just had at martins place. i asked him nicely about repeating the great time we had last year in october, and hes agreed to let us do it all over again. the only trouble is hes asked me if we can all make it on the last weekend in september instead, because hes not sure if the field will be dry enough in october this year like it was last year, and he doesnt want us too churn up the field because he needs it to feed the catle etc. i hope this is ok for everyone conserned and it isnt going too feel too close to the big bash we just had. i hope we can all make it that month as it will be a great end to the year and to try our vans out once more before we lay them up etc over winter. we will have the same facilitys etc as last time big fire pit etc. and we could also lay on food as well if everyone so wishes. so come on guys and girls let me know what you all think so we can look at the numbers of whos coming etc to see if its all worth while.

Hi Cazz
Thanks for the lights.
My kids still havent got lost (unfortunately):);)[xx(]

On a different note this may be an idea for a meet.
There is a very laid back campsite near Corfe castle in Dorset.
The farmer (he is a farmer not a professional camp site bloke) doesnt mind who turns up, you dont need to book as if it gets busy he shoos the lambs out and just opens up another field to campers.
You are allowed BBQs, fires, whatever you want really. Its very beautiful and 3 miles from the sea, Corfe castle etc.
I was there are month ago and the price was £7 per person per night (kids free) which included a dozen eggs each (hes also a free range egg farmer)
It doesnt have its own web site but here is a page of reviews:

I have been going regularly for over 5 years times in the van and its the friendlist campsite ever. (turn up at midnight - no problem, kids want to have a look at the sheep - no problem, pregnant and need to use a nice loo - no problem come in my farmhouse) etc etc etc.

Basically if we were to have a meet here it wouldnt need to be pre-arranged too much and we wouldnt need to know how many people were going - just turn up and park next to a Commer....

Cheers
Jules
